  • 3 cups Cauliflower Florets (lightly steamed)
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets (lightly steamed)
  • 12 ounces Sliced Smoked Sausage
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Onion (diced)
  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 2 ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2/3 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the sliced sausage until seared. Remove and set aside.
  3. In a pot, melt butter over medium heat, then add diced onions and cook until softened. Stir in minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add cream cheese into the pot and melt it down. Pour in heavy whipping cream, whisking until combined and simmering until thickened.
  5. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Combine steamed cauliflower, broccoli, and sautéed sausage in a mixing bowl. Pour the cheese sauce over and mix well.
  7. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
