  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp mint extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • Gel food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the room temperature butter on medium speed for about 5 minutes until light and fluffy.
  2. Gradually add half of the powdered sugar, mixing on low speed until combined. Add the remaining sugar and mix until fully incorporated.
  3. Pour in the vanilla and mint extracts along with salt; mix on low before slowly drizzling in the heavy cream to achieve a creamy consistency.
  4. Increase mixer speed to medium and whip for an additional 2-3 minutes until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the bowl as needed.
