  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix granulated sugar, light corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined. Reserve 2 tablespoons of this mixture for later.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans until they are coated in the filling.
  4. Unroll the crescent dough on the prepared baking sheet and separate it into triangles. Place 2-3 tablespoons of the pecan mixture on each triangle’s widest end and roll towards the narrow end.
  5. Bake for about 8 minutes until set and golden brown.
  6. Brush with reserved sugar mixture and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve warm, optionally topped with extra chopped pecans.
