  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tsp Fresh Thyme
  • 2 tbsps Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 1 Red Onion, sliced
  • 12 Honeycrisp Apples, sliced
  • 4 tbsps Salted Butter
  • 3/4 cup Apple Cider
  • 1/2 cup Chicken Broth or White Grape Juice
  • 2 tbsps Dijon Mustard
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Season chicken thighs with onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken thighs skin-side down until golden brown.
  4. Add sliced red onions and Honeycrisp apples around the chicken in the pan.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. For the sauce, combine butter, apple cider, broth (or grape juice), Dijon mustard, and minced garlic in the same skillet over medium heat; whisk until thickened.
  7. Return chicken and apples to the pan; spoon sauce over before serving.
